Points to Note When Recording Movies
Note the following points when recording movies:

Depending on memory card write speed, shooting may end before the maximum length ( Frame Size/Frame Rate and Movie Quality ) is reached.

Note that the number of subjects that can be detected in face-detection AF drops during movie recording.

A 0 icon indicates that movies cannot be recorded.

] is not available during movie recording. -
Flash lighting cannot be used.

If the subject is over- or under-exposed in mode P or S, end live view and start live view again or select mode A and adjust aperture.

Exposure for mode S is equivalent to mode P.

Regardless of the option chosen for [
] > [ ] or for [ ], the upper limit when [ ] is selected for [ ] in the movie shooting menu is ISO 51200. -
The upper limit for ISO sensitivity can be selected using the [
] > [ ] item in the movie shooting menu. -
If [
] is selected for [ ] > [ ] in the movie shooting menu, the upper limit for ISO sensitivity can be selected using [ ].

White balance can be adjusted during movie recording by pressing the Q/g (U) button and rotating the main command dial. Options for the selected setting, if any, can be selected by holding the Q/g (U) button and rotating the sub-command dial (Achieving Natural Colors with Different Light Sources (White Balance)).
In mode M shutter speed can be set to values between 1/25 s and 1/8000 s (the slowest available shutter speed varies with the frame rate; Frame Size/Frame Rate and Movie Quality ).
If [
] is selected for Custom Setting g2 [ ] > [ ], the shutter-release buttons on optional wireless remote controllers and remote cords can be pressed halfway to start live view or pressed all the way down to start and end movie recording.The optional ME-1 stereo microphone or ME-W1 wireless microphone can be used to record sound for movies.
