When [Center-weighted metering] is selected, the camera assigns the greatest weight to an area in the center of the viewfinder when setting exposure. Custom Setting b4 [Center-weighted area] is used to choose the size of the area given the greatest weight when [Center-weighted metering] is selected.

  • If a non-CPU or AF‑S Fisheye NIKKOR 8–15mm f/3.5–4.5E ED lens is attached, the size of the area is fixed at φ12 mm.
